The presence of the yellow peach slices brought me back to my younger days spent gorging on Delifrance’s peach tarts. Ideal for those with a sweet tooth, this dessert pastry remained pretty crispy even after a while of sitting. Though some might find its sugariness a little cloying, the fruitiness and floral sweetness of the peach breathes life into it, so this was a winner for me.

I heated mine in the oven and the powder melted into this sticky little milo rock. Love the generosity of the milo powder but it got a bit overwhelming sometimes cuz of all the chewing in contrast to the croissant (could just be due to the milo being in rock form) but overall a pretty solid croissant! Maybe it'd feel different if the milo were in powder form as intended but this was great too, plus look at that sexy cross section WOW ITS DRIP DRIP DRIPPIN'.

I was very happy to find that this bakery is Halal certified, and conveniently located in Northpoint! I definitely recommend both sweet and savoury flavours, in particular, the blackforest one and mentaiko crolo!

Crolo REALLY brings affordable croissants into the heartlands! They always have a promotion of buy-6-get-2 croissants free and we think it’s pretty reasonable as their croissants all have fillings. Will definitely want to try more of their dessert range the next time (esp mango!!)
